Mahen K. Seeruttun is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a holder of an MBA. As a qualified professional accountant, he has over twenty-five years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has also been in government and over the last ten years he has occupied the post of Minister of Agro-Industry and Food Security for the first five years and the Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance thereafter. He has spearheaded Mauritius to come out of the Grey List of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and has been involved in the introduction of a number of legislations to consolidate the financial eco-system in Mauritius.
